I noticed too many stars behind the Moon.. 🌕 🌌

Turned out to be the 7 sisters hiding behind the Moon

On the midnight of November 16th, the clouds cleared, revealing a perfect night for stargazing. I set up my observatory-grade refractor to capture the Beaver Super Moon, but something unusual caught my attention—there were more stars visible than usual behind the Moon. This was surprising, as the brightness of a supermoon typically obscures background stars.

Curious, I opened my Starmap 3D+ app and pointed it toward the Moon. To my delight, I discovered that the Pleiades star cluster was perfectly positioned right behind it!

The moment I realized that Pleiades was behind the Moon

I grabbed my full frame mirrorless camera, and captured the image in full details. Usually, I take 1 exposure separately of the stars and add it to the Moon background, but this time it was not necessary, because Pleiades was already decorating the background naturally.

I then finalized the image and ordered myself a large print, I was amazed with the details, the print felt like light was glowing out of it.

The photo is available in limited quantity for a limited time, with framing options available.

I took this selfie from my cellphone, you can notice the Pleiades in the background, the image looks stunning in person

The Pleiades gave the Beaver Super Moon a perfect vibe. I’m sure this will bring you happiness when you order a print and decorate your wall with it. As a valued subscriber, this email is actually your early access to the limited edition print, so make sure to get yours before they run out and before the sale ends. Last day to get it is Monday, November 25th.
